My new business

Hi I’m Aisling. I’m writing this post as I have finally decided to chase my dreams and I want you to join in on the journey.

I quit my full-time job in an established career to pursue my dream of starting my own business, work online remotely and travelling.

Before I went to college, I always knew I wanted to own my own business. But I had no business experience and I didn’t know where to start. So, I studied and pursued a career in HR. It gave me great exposure and experience to the corporate world.

I gained an in-depth knowledge of the life cycle of an employee along with the commercial aspect of how a business operates. I learned how to build relationships, manage conflict, and learned what employees valued in order to achieve job satisfaction.

While I enjoyed my job, I felt I still didn't achieve job satisfaction.

I explored my options and where I would apply my experience. I decided that Career Coaching was the business I wanted to pursue. It combined my experience with my desire to help people. I started my side hustle of Career Coaching and I instantly knew I loved it. When I helped my first client land their dream job, I immediately experienced that job satisfaction I was searching for. I knew this is what I wanted to do.

You will have one to one personal coaching to help you identify your goals and lay out a path for you to achieve them. I’ll delve deeper in my next blog posts with hints and tips to achieve your ultimate career success.

My next post will be around starting a side hustle so you can gain insight on exactly what is involved in setting up a business while working a full-time job. I certainly didn’t know what was involved until I started. It involves a lot of hard work, determination and perseverance.
